SMART Therapy Module

This module aims to enhance nurses' ability to assess and manage asthma in students effectively. By the end of the program, participants will be able to accurately assess asthma control in students, understand the 2020 updates to the NIH Asthma Treatment Guidelines, and apply these guidelines to improve asthma education and symptom control. Dr. Robyn Cohen, a pediatric pulmonologist and Director of the Pediatric Asthma Program at Boston Medical Center, presents this program, bringing her expertise in pediatric asthma and addressing health disparities.
